The Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society

Founded in 1960, our society is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of Callaway County with all generations.

With two facilities—a museum and research center—in the county seat of Fulton, the historical society has much to offer to anyone interested in learning more about the county and its people.

The Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society continues to be the repository to archive the history of Callaway County. We want you to know how much your continued support of the Historical Society is appreciated.

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Tuesday - Friday | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on the first Saturday of the month
Research Center is closed the last week of December through January 31

Dedicated to our local history.

The Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society was officially charted by the State Historical Society and incorporated by the State of Missouri on July 15, 1960. With a museum and research center in Fulton, the Society continues to fulfill its mission of collecting, preserving and sharing the history of Callaway County with present and future generations.
